Oscar-winning visual designer and innovator John Gaeta today announced the founding and expansion of his new venture, Float Hybrid Entertainment, a combination think tank, incubator and developer of multi platform franchises.

Oscar-winning visual designer and innovator John Gaeta today announced the founding and expansion of his new venture, Float Hybrid Entertainment, a combination think tank, incubator and developer of multi platform franchises.

Float develops emergent entertainment products through applied prototyping and producing within a variety of platforms, including online, console, PC, and mobile with a special focus on hybrid and connected experiences.

Additionally, since 2009, Float has been on the leading edge of foundational technical and creative research in the areas of gesture-based interfaces (a.k.a Natural User Interfaces, KINECT) and redefining fluid, compelling and relevant applications for global audiences.

Float is presently working on several undisclosed projects to bring to market next level apps, games, interactive cinema and transmedia products.
