The highly-anticipated VoIP telephone provider, netTALK (NTLK), announced today that they have selected VIXXI Solutions, Inc. (VIXXI) to provide E911 for their newly launched nationwide voice solution. netTALK’s telephone product, the TK6000, leverages the technology of the internet to provide customers with free unlimited local and long distance calling, eliminating monthly telephone bills while providing optimal audio quality.
VIXXI’s E911 solution is a critical component of the service, allowing netTALK customers to place emergency calls that deliver accurate caller information to the correct emergency response center, even when traveling with the portable product. “VIXXI’s ability to deliver reliable, cost-effective E911 service was instrumental to our product launch,” says Chairman and CEO of netTALK, Anastasios Takis Kyriakides, who added, “VIXXI’s responsiveness, innovative technology, and willingness to accommodate our specific requirements ensures they can keep up with our business needs.”
netTALK selected VIXXI’s fully-managed end-to-end E911 solution, VIXXI-Link, which provides real-time address validation and automated ALI management for immediate 911 availability to stationary or traveling customers. As customers travel with their softphone, they can easily register their location to ensure they remain E911-protected. The solution also offers VIXXI’s patent-pending Dynamic Geospatial Routing, which calculates the correct PSAP route at the time of the call, especially critical for the changing location of roaming users.
