American Diabetes Association of Western New York Seeks Corporate Sponsors for the Buffalo 2007 Tour de Cure Cycling Event

(PRWEB) October 5, 2006 -- The American Diabetes Association (ADA) of Western New York seeks corporate sponsors for the 2007 Tour de Cure cycling event. Sponsorships are available at several levels, with the top two being Presenting Sponsor and Post-Ride Party Sponsor.
Tour de Cure is a series of cycling events held in more than 80 cities nationwide to benefit the American Diabetes Association. The Tour is a ride, not a race, with routes designed for everyone from the occasional rider to the experienced cyclist. Riders travel routes supported from start to finish with rest stops, food to fuel their journeys, with fans to cheer them on. The Buffalo 2007 Tour de Cure will support the Association's mission: to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of the 20.8 million Americans affected by diabetes.
Corporate Sponsors help an important cause while promoting their own products and services. The consumer and business demographics match the target markets of may Western New York businesses. For example, 83 percent of riders are 25-54 years old. While 54 percent have incomes of $35,000-$100,000, a full 36 percent have incomes greater than $100,000.
Tour de Cure literature, mailings and advertising include mentions of sponsors, and their logos wherever appropriate. This year, the Buffalo Tour de Cure will have its own website, with a page honoring each of the top levels of sponsorship. Sponsors also gain access to American Diabetes Association support in educating their employees about Diabetes prevention through literature and onsite employee presentations.
The 2007 Buffalo Tour de Cure will take place Saturday, June 2nd. This Tour de Cure serves the eight counties of Western New York, including Buffalo and Niagara Falls.
