Earth Class Mail™, a global service that delivers postal mail online, won the "Most Valuable Company" award at the inaugural Keiretsu Forum Angel Capital Expo Wednesday in San Francisco.

The Seattle-based Earth Class Mail (formerly known as Document Command) was one of 18 companies selected to present its investment opportunity to Bay Area investors from hundreds of applicants. At the end of the day, more than 300 attendees were given fake currency of three $1mm bills to invest in their favorite company. Earth Class Mail received the most investment dollars and was honored with the "Most Valuable Company" award.

"Keiretsu Forum is an investment group known for its intense due diligence process," says Ron Wiener, CEO and founder of Earth Class Mail. "To be chosen as Most Valuable Company by a group with such a strong reputation is an honor. We plan to validate this award as we continue to grow and expand our company."

The Earth Class Mail online postal service gives customers online access to their postal mail, from anywhere in the world, at any time. Customers range from mobile workers and military personnel to college students, expatriates, and entire businesses.

"Keiretsu Forum Angels appreciate paradigm-shifting companies, such as Earth Class Mail, because they not only ease the pain in their particular industry, but these companies also improve the quality-of-life for our world community," says Randy Williams, CEO and founder of Keiretsu Forum.

Customers in more than 80 countries are using the Earth Class Mail service to view and manage their postal mail from any internet connection on earth. The vast majority of people in the U.S. can now have their mail sent to an address in their region, including Seattle, Portland, and the Bay Area, even though they are actually receiving it online wherever they are located.

Earth Class Mail™ receives mail each day, scans the outside of the sealed envelopes and presents these images to the customer online. The customer then determines whether to have the mail opened and scanned, shredded, recycled, transferred elsewhere, or forward-shipped - similar to how people manage their mobile phones and emails. The Earth Class Mail system is convenient, reliable, and cost-effective.
