Soon the rest of the world will know what we have known all along. If you want to throw an unforgettable party, it starts and ends with Right On!

EastCoast Entertainment's exclusive act, The Right On Band, will be performing on New Years Eve, during FOX News Channel's "UParty 2009" in Times Square, broadcasting live from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Right On will be performing alongside O.A.R, Locash Cowboys, and the Chuck Wicks Band. FOX hosts Bill Hemmer and Megyn Kelly will emcee the event.

"Right On may be the best kept mainstream show band in the world. When the opportunity came up to showcase their talents to millions of viewers on the biggest NYE stage in the world, Times Square, we just couldn't say no," explains EastCoast Entertainment Managing Director, John Wolfslayer.

Right On, a '70s show band from Virginia Beach, Virginia, is an authentic "ten-piece show band" with a full horn section. Specializing in Motown, Disco, and 70s Funk, with the ability to perform hits from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, & today, Right On is America's "Ultimate Show Band".

On Tuesday, January 20, 2009, Right On will perform at the Inauguration of President Barack Obama. He will be the third sitting President for whom Right On has had the honor of performing. They have also had the honor of performing for the US Congress at the White House as well as other dignitaries and heads of state around the world.

Right On has performed all over the world including Africa, Italy, Ethiopia, Canada, the Dominican Republic and the Bahamas. They have shared the stage with national acts including Little Richard, K C & the Sunshine Band, The Doobie Brothers, Hall & Oates, The Beach Boys, The Spinners, The Four Tops, Patti Labelle, The Commodores, Morris Day & the Time, and The Village People.

Right On does not have a record contract nor does it receive radio airplay. Its popularity among celebrities and other notables has grown solely through word-of-mouth and continues to grow. Right On was formed in 1996, when Nigel Holland moved to Virginia after an accident in New York left him legally blind. Always a music lover, Holland invited friends to perform his original songs, including the band's novelty hit "The Hiney Song," but the band soon morphed into a full-on '70s show band complete with psychedelic costumes and a repertoire that keeps the dance floor packed for hours. Wolfslayer adds, "Soon the rest of the world will know what we have known all along. If you want to throw an unforgettable party, it starts and ends with Right On!"
