ABOL Software Solution is the First eVS-Compliant Vendor Software

The Postal ServiceĀ® is offering new services that B2C shippers want, but shippers cannot keep up with the new technology requirements

ABOL Software, a leading provider of transportation solutions for business-to-consumer shippers, today announced the general availability of the first eVS-compliant vendor solution. The ABOL Software solution enables customers to process eVS-compliant files and labels to submit electronic manifests as an alternative to the Mail Manifesting System (MMS) and other postage payment systems.

The ABOL Software solution enables any mid- to high- volume parcel shipper to rapidly implement the eVS electronic verification system to increase production in shipping; reduce costs; improve expense management; and enable simplified mail acceptance.

At the heart of this new solution is ABOL Virtual Manifesting, a proprietary management framework that integrates IT infrastructure, communications, data management and postal manifesting software. ABOL Virtual Manifesting will enable any parcel shipper to create eVS files from their existing manifest solution.

"The Postal Service® is offering new services that B2C shippers want, but shippers cannot keep up with the new technology requirements" says Maik Goettel, President and CEO for ABOL Software. "The ABOL Software solution enables a customer to start shipping with USPS® quickly and stay current with new services and requirements."

A recent example is the announcement that Bound Printed Matter shippers must now use Permit Mail. ABOL Software is already prepared and ready for this change, and can easily help customers transition to permit payment methods.

The ABOL Software solution is delivered as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution that combines technology and professional services to rapidly implement a new customer, ensure customers are always up-to-date with USPS requirements; and eliminate upgrade costs for future USPS changes.

ABOL Software can meet the needs of any shipper ranging from mid- volume, single-origin, non-presort shippers to high-volume, mutliple-origin, presort Postal Consolidators. The ABOL Software solution combines technology and services to generate, upload and confirm receipt of eVS files to USPS. ABOL's Software may also provide supportive research, audit, reconciliation and reporting services to manage the highest volume parcel shippers.
