Echoer (http://echoer.com), a mobile app that makes it easy to share local experiences and see what other people are thinking and experiencing in the places around them, is now available for Android devices. Initially released on iPhone earlier this year, the app curates users’ thoughts and experiences by relevance, placing the best content on the map to give timely and popular recommendations.
Today Echoer also launched its Content Partner Program, with the first media, event and blogger partners including over 500 bloggers worldwide and local events and publications such as The Montreal Gazette and Montreal Jazz Festival. Program partners will be sharing their content and expertise within Echoer to help users discover interesting and exciting events, places, restaurants and bars.

The visually stunning and clever design of Echoer makes it quick and easy to find out relevant, timely, and popular recommendations, and opinions about local restaurants, bars, gigs and events. Echoer also solves the problem of working out which thoughts are worth hearing; elevating the most recent and popular content above the noise. Echoer displays the most relevant thoughts, or ‘echoes’, on a map. With a simple tap of the screen users can interact with a particular echo, amp it up, or enter a place and see a living infographic of the echoes in there.
