Wilderness Trail Bikes, Inc., a global leader in bicycle components, is proud to announce a partnership with Shopatron that integrates online sales with WTB’s dealer network.

Beginning April 16th, consumers will have the ability to purchase WTB components directly on WTB.com. Orders will then be processed through Shopatron eCommerce—a program that assigns those orders to local dealers that have the items in stock.

“WTB’s extensive product line includes tires, saddles, grips, wheels, rims and hubs. It’s not easy for any one dealer to keep it all in stock, so online direct sales have always been appealing,” says Gary Gleason, WTB’s sales director. “But the last thing we want to do is undercut our loyal dealers. Shopatron allows our dealers to actually benefit from sales on WTB.com.”

Here’s how it works: You want to buy a white WTB Deva Pro saddle for a big ride this weekend. You visit your favorite local bike shop and they just sold their last Deva. Instead of spending the rest of the day searching, you could visit WTB.com and click “buy now”. After you’ve made the purchase, Shopatron will notify dealers in your area. The closest dealer to respond gets the sale and you will be given the option to swing by the shop and pick up the saddle or have it delivered to your door. If no local retailer has the item in stock it will ship directly from WTB’s California warehouse.

Ask your favorite local bike shop if they are already involved with Shopatron. If not, let them know that it’s free for retailers to participate. For more details about Shopatron visit Shopatron.
