EEDC Announces 2011 Edmonton Achievement Awards

Call for nominations open until February 21 for the 2011 Edmonton Achievement Awards, designed to recognize leading business organizations in Edmonton

“We are looking for organizations that represent and reflect our corporate priority areas namely leadership, innovation and recognition,” says Ron Gilbertson, president and CEO of Edmonton Economic Development Corporation.

The 2011 Edmonton Achievement Awards, presented by the Edmonton Economic Development Corporation (EEDC) will recognize Edmonton’s leading organizations on April 18. Submissions are currently being accepted through February 21.

“We are looking for organizations that represent and reflect our corporate priority areas namely leadership, innovation and recognition,” says Ron Gilbertson, president and CEO of Edmonton Economic Development Corporation. “We want to acknowledge and recognize leading organizations in Greater Edmonton which engage the community and act as a catalyst for change, while fostering innovation and increasing Edmonton’s visibility on a global level.”

The Award nominations are open to all organizations that have been in business in Edmonton for a minimum of three years. Submissions must be made online and may be for more than one category. The submission deadline is February 21.

The awards will be presented at EEDC’s Annual Luncheon on April 18 at the Shaw Conference Centre.
