Edmonton Canada is home to the country's largest urban park, the River Valley Park System, with 22 major parks and over 150 kilometers of trails for showshoeing and cross-country skiing. Also within the city, the Strathcona Wilderness Centre includes 550 acres of parkland forest with 12 kilometers of trails, and the Whitemud Ravine Nature Reserve provides a pristine setting for winter sports as well as a toboggan hill.
