Sue Murray, President of EduCorp Training and Consulting, was recognized as one of the Top 40 Women in Business by Opportunity World magazine and Women Presidents' Organization.

Sue Murray is a true pioneer who won respect as a successful woman in the oil and gas business, and later in technology. Sue has made important contributions that fundamentally improved the performance of computer programs in solving problems, and accelerated the use of high performance computing. Previously a leader at IBM, Ms. Murray left the company in 1993 and founded EduCorp, a technology training company that quickly grew to be IBM's core education supplier. Now recognized as one of IBM's top diversity suppliers, EduCorp has expanded its reach to include professional and soft skills training. Recently, EduCorp acquired Austin-area consulting firm MDR Consulting and Education and launched an IT consulting division called ETC Solutions.

In just 15 years EduCorp has grown to more than $12 million in annual revenue and has been recognized among DiversityBusiness.com's Top Small Businesses in 2006-2007 as well as Tech Titan and Tech Advocate Award finalist 2007 by Dallas Business Journal.

Above all, Sue Murray is an educator at heart. While serving as president, Murray also continues her interest in education as a guest speaker for the University of Dallas' Entrepreneur MBA program and teaches a training and development course at Texas Women's University in their Executive MBA program. Sue and EduCorp also sponsor a business plan competition for students at the University of Dallas, awarding a start-up grant to the best plan.

The "Top 40 Women in Business" award recognizes women who are proven leaders in their field and have earned the right to stand up among their peers and be recognized for all their contributions and achievements. An active member of several groups for women in business and technology, Sue serves as an example and mentor to women seeking to develop successful careers in male-dominated fields.
