We will train and certify our channel partners to the highest degree.

Denver, Colorado (PRWEB) April 2, 2009

In a wide ranging discussion with media sources today, e-fense discussed its many marketing and sales initiatives designed to ensure a global reach of its incident response and e-discovery products and ease of purchase for customers. The risk of data loss through computer crime is increasingly growing and there are few products as unique as Helix3 Enterprise to reduce that risk and increase information security. "According to an article in Information Week, insider theft more than doubled from 2007 to 2008. We cannot remove an employee or criminal from their intent to illegally take data but in using our incident response software products we can determine who did such mischief." Managing Director of e-fense, Lauren LaFortuna stated.

Ms. LaFortuna also said that it is e-fense's responsibility to ensure ease of purchase and ease of use. "Our current initiative is designed to add resellers worldwide. We are interviewing solid technology partners with a reputation of integrity and the ability to sustain their business even in these difficult times. I am calling out to these businesses throughout the globe who desire an interview to become a reseller of our incident response products. Becoming an e-fense partner either as a client or sales agency is just good business. Helix3 is a strong brand in law enforcement and we intend on it becoming similarly well known in the private sector."

Anywhere that people have a need to reduce computer crime and the risks associated with data loss they turn to e-fense and Helix3. e-fense continues to strive towards innovation as well as easy to understand reporting and analysis of computer criminal behavior. LaFortuna said, "We will train and certify our channel partners to the highest degree."

Chief Executive Officer, Steve Bederman believes that the current economic downturn contributes to the growth in corporate data theft. "As corporations tighten their budgets and reduce staff size or compensation, a general bitterness in their workforce can rise. People get angry and sometimes take that out on their company. Why that occurs is complex. Though, being prepared with the strongest defensive solution, Helix3 Enterprise, will go a long way to deter and therefore prevent data theft or computer focused malicious behavior. We intend to make the Helix3 line of incident response products available to everyone through purchases on the Internet, purchases from our direct sales group, or through resellers everywhere."

We should all watch for e-fense as it expands its markets through resellers of their incident response software. This is an exciting storyline in an otherwise precarious corporate and potentially serious social downturn.

e-fense is headquartered in Colorado with offices in Washington DC and England. e-fense was founded in 2001 by a team of computer forensic, incident response and counter intelligence experts.
