Kate Lee, a veteran of six egg donations, has partnered with Beverly Hills Egg Donation, a leading egg donor agency, to create an online forum that allows current and prospective egg donors the opportunity to dialogue with someone who truly understands what goes into being an egg donor. "Ask Kate" allows visitors to submit any questions they may have about the donation experience and get a prompt response from Kate. The site, called "Ask Kate" gives intelligent, factual information about the egg donation process, including detailed descriptions of the legal, psychological, genetic and medical aspects of the process, from a donor's perspective.

"Ask Kate" was launched in response to the overwhelming number of inquiries from young women who are interested in egg donation, but find it challenging to locate truthful information online regarding the process, and to understand what one should expect when donating. Kate, in addition to being a former donor herself, is an avid supporter of egg donation and is happy to give her unique take on everything involved - from daily injections, to travel cycles, to taxation of donor fees, and beyond.

Kate explains, "I wanted "Ask Kate" to be a completely honest forum for women who are hesitant about, thrilled about or frustrated by egg donation. I feel so strongly about my decision to donate that I want other prospective donors to feel sure and safe enough to want to take it on as well. Egg donation isn't dinner conversation in general, let alone an open Q&A for donors."

Dr. Michael Feinman, a veteran fertility doctor with HRC Fertility in Encino, adds, "I'm thrilled that Kate has created this much-needed resource for young women who are considering becoming egg donors. It's important that women fully understand what they're getting into when agreeing to become donors. While medical information from doctors is vital, there's nothing like a bird's eye view of the process as seen by an experienced egg donor. This interactive forum, run by someone who's been through multiple cycles with multiple clinics, is a terrific way for a prospective donor to begin to educate herself - and voice her concerns - before getting to the doctor's office."

"Ask Kate" launched in May of 2010, and is a joint venture between Kate Lee and Beverly Hills Egg Donation. To find out more, visit http://www.askaneggdonor.com.
