About the Author
Eileen Cunningham was born in Redhill, Surrey in 1934 and spent most of her childhood in a private boarding school in Mill Hill. After leaving at the age of 17, she served in the military for five years, before being medically discharged due to the discovery of bone complications. Cunningham then decided to take a gap year traveling around Europe. In 1957, she attended an interview with The Hanley Pages in Cricklewood, but because of her progressive medical condition, she was unable to accept their job offer. Cunningham was given a late diagnosis of the condition Osteomyelitis (in the spine). She had to be hospitalized, suffered total paralysis, and although partially recovered, she was wheelchair bound on a permanent basis. It was a great disappointment for her. In her younger days, she enjoyed horse riding and attended hunts during her teens. She also loves cryptics, anagrams, and playing chess. Cunningham has achieved national fame in air and pistol shooting at the British Open yearly competition and also has a coaching diploma for teaching the sport. Cunningham has also done some private tuition in Advanced Mathematics and English. In 2010, she decided to try her hand at book writing which is when she wrote her first novel ‘What Goes Around Comes Around’.
