The Evidence In Motion (EIM) Institute of Health Professions, a company created to assist in the continued education of physical therapists, is pleased to announce their presence at the following 2011 physical therapy conferences: The American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) National Student Conclave, The American Academy of Manual Physical Therapy (AAOMPT) Annual Conference, The Private Practice Section of the APTA Annual Conference, and The Sports Section of the APTA Annual Conference. EIM’s presence will include an interactive booth that showcases EIM’s educational offerings and products. Additionally EIM will have faculty members presenting during the conferences and will be offering a prizes to lucky conference attendees.
APTA’s National Student Conclave will be held in Minneapolis, Minnesota on October 21-22, 2011. The National Student Conclave is a fantastic place for physical therapy students to network with other students and practitioners, explore the latest in physical therapy technology and learn from experts in the physical therapy field. EIM will be exhibiting at booth number 325 and all attendees are encouraged to visit EIM’s booth to enter to win an iPad2. In order to enter the contest, attendees must pick up an EIM tee-shirt at EIM’s booth and wear the tee-shirt during the conference. An EIM staff member will randomly choose a conference attendee wearing an EIM shirt during the conference to win the iPad2.
AAOMPT’s Annual Conference will convene during the following week in Anaheim, California from October 26-30, 2011. This conference provides a venue for those with a common interest in orthopaedic manual physical therapy to meet, collaborate and promote research, practice, and patient care. EIM will be exhibiting at booth number 3 and attendees are welcome to visit the booth to learn about EIM’s educational offerings and meet the following EIM owners and employees: John Childs, PT, PhD, MBA, Jessie Dugan, PT, Tim Flynn, PT, PhD, OCS, FAAOMPT and Rob Wainner, PT, PhD. The APTA Private Practice Section Annual Conference will be held on November 2-5, 2011 in Seattle, Washington. The Private Practice Conference offers physical therapy practitioners in private practices growth and management information and exposure to the latest strategies for success. Participants can visit EIM’s booth, number 123, to enter to win one of Larry Benz’s, PT, DPT, EIM’s Executive Program in Private Practice Management Director and Owner, favorite business books. The APTA Sports Section Annual Conference is scheduled for December 1-3, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada. This conference is specifically for therapists who are interested in sports therapy. EIM’s Sports Physical Therapy Residency Director, Teresa Schumann, PT, DPT, SCS, ATC, will be present at EIM’s booth during this conference to answer questions about EIM’s sports-related education opportunities. Schumann will also be presenting and moderating at the Sports Section Annual Conference.
