El Grado Spirits is teaming up with Mazda-powered Rolex Sports Car Series competitor Dempsey Racing beginning with the May 1st round of the 2009 Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series in Millville, New Jersey.
For this weekend's event and at least 3 others during the 2009 season, the Dempsey Racing Mazda RX-8 GT will be sporting the El Grado brand as the Texas-based company launches its new line of Ultra-Premium Tequila in high speed and style.

To formally announce its new partnership, El Grado is hosting the "Live it. Full Throttle" Tequila Tasting Party at the NEW JERSEY MOTORSPORTS PARK, BRIGHTEN ROOM RESTAURANT, May 1, with tasting starting at 6:30.
To include Grand-Am fans in the excitement, El Grado is hosting an online contest to name a new margarita drink after Patrick and the Dempsey Racing team. "This is the first in a series of contests to create excitement among the fans," says Marie Ralston, Co-Owner of E Image Agency, El Grado's marketing arm. "Fans will submit their most creative margarita names online. We narrow the names to the top 3 finalists then the fans will vote online at http://www.elgradoracing.com to pick the winning name.
