Aframe has launched an ambitious eLearning project, Skills Optimiser, to manage and facilitate staff learning and growth through identifying key staff skills and develop individual training plans. Skills Optimiser is being rolled out across the entire Salmat SalesForce workforce, over 5,000 staff, providing a complete performance and learning management system for the entire organisation.

Skills Optimiser features a training needs analysis system to gauge the staff member's competency in individual skills. Training needs analysis can be completed through an online assessment that the staff member will complete, through a manager review of the skills that the staff member has, through job performance metrics, or through call recording and QA analysis. If the training needs analysis process has identified a skills gap, Skills Optimiser will deliver eLearning resources or identify the need for classroom based training. Upon completion of training, staff will complete the training needs analysis process to verify competency in the skill.

Ensuring that every member of staff is optimising their time and skills will impact on the bottom line. According to PricewaterhouseCoopers, 70% of the Fortune 1000 cite lack of trained employees as their number-one barrier to sustaining growth. Personal skills development programs, created by Aframe Skills Optimiser, allow employees to become active participants in the course of their own development and advancement -- an enabling, empowering and motivational tool. The beauty of eLearning is that it can be highly targeted and self-administered. Integrating eLearning with quality monitoring provides the ability to deliver specific training modules to agents based on the areas identified as needing development during scheduled "learning breaks" or low call volume periods.

By pairing agent skills development plans with the power of workforce management, elearning can provide a flexible and targeted training tool to the contact centre arsenal. Enabling contact centre management to prioritize training and focus on those agents who need it most, when they need it, thus leveraging time and saving money. Skills Optimiser is an ongoing project that is constantly evolving and adapting to organisational needs and requirements that all users of the LMS will benefit from.
