Payment Alliance International (PAI), a leader in electronic payment processing solutions, announced today that it has acquired the ATM Processing Business of Willoughby, Ohio-based WRG Services Inc. (WRG), one of America’s largest ATM independent sales organizations.
WRG has more than 300 distributor relationships and a portfolio of over 12,000 deployed ATMs in the United States. The transaction grows PAI’s customer base to over 45,000 ATM locations to serve a total of 75,000 payment services clients nationally.
John Leehy, President & CEO of Payment Alliance International, says the acquisition is an exciting development; “This is a significant day for the ATM industry and a tremendous event for everyone involved as we welcome WRG to the PAI family. With the addition of WRG’s outstanding distributor network and portfolio of ATMs, Payment Alliance International further strengthens its position as the leading ATM provider in the United States.”
PAI has created a unique dynamic through the convergence of transaction card payments, cash management services, check processing, money transfer and cash dispensing solutions. PAI clients can offer their customers a wide variety of payment industry products while bringing convenience and cost savings to their operations.
“PAI’s single-source approach to the market is very similar to that of WRG and offers an enhanced combination of new products and services to WRG’s traditional customer and reseller programs,” said Jim Penza, President of WRG, adding that “We expect all ATM owners and operators across the country could benefit greatly by the economies of scale and broad product offerings now available through PAI.”
