From cooking in Italy for the Canadian Ambassador to preparing Nova Scotian dishes for the Queen, Maritime Chef Steven brings a wealth of skills, techniques and experience to the downtown Halifax restaurant. Chef Steven focuses on creating something original from traditional techniques.
“We look forward to refining and elevating our dishes with our new menu,” states Galvin. “We will transform the ingredients so guest can truly taste and savour the key flavours of each dish. The new menu will be honest, sophisticated and showcase our partners ingredients like never before.”
With Chef Steven’s passion and commitment to local ingredients, elements on hollis offers the best Halifax dining experience. The new Atlantic cuisine menus will launch mid-November and guests can taste one of Chef Steven’s dishes on Friday October 26, 2012. From the Fall/Winter menu, the sneak peek special will be lamb confit with turnip puree, glazed carrots, garlic rosemary potato and mint lamb jus.
