It is important that as an Indianapolis based company, we show our support for one of the long standing traditions of the city
Indianapolis, IN (Vocus) May 29, 2010
For the second year in a row, Metro Elevator Services will be sponsoring the number 99 car, driven by Townsend Bell, in the Indianapolis 500 – the IRL’s premier event of the year. The car is owned and operated by Sam Schmidt Motorsports (SSM) and Chip Gannasi Racing (CGR). The driver, Townsend Bell, began in the 24th position last year and worked his way up to the front of the pack, finishing 4th overall.
The local Indiana elevator repair company is showing their support behind the number 99 car as well as the sport which has been the lifeblood of Indianapolis over the last century. “It is important that as an Indianapolis based company, we show our support for one of the long standing traditions of the city” said Metro Elevator Services owner Charlie Ernstes. “We are proud to be partnering yet again with the teams of Sam Schmidt and Chip Gannasi and we wish Townsend the best of luck this year.”
The elevator maintenance and repair company is pleased to have the increased exposure that comes with being a sponsor at the Indianapolis 500. As one of the top viewed sporting events all season long, there will be plenty of eyes on the number 99 car. The sponsorship of the Indy race car is also a chance to increase the company exposure in the local arena, which is Metro Elevator Service’s primary target.
