For a small company we really punch above our weight

http://elifeuk.com/dali/ DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) provided a series of options that enabled E-LIFE to deliver unique solutions which satisfy a number of users and make the building one of the smartest around.
The lighting system has constant daylight control which means it adjusts it's illumination to account for the natural daylight and will constantly manage itself to light the room to the optimum level. So on naturally bright days the system will be working less, and therefore costing less, than more traditional lighting.
By dividng a classroom into zones of lighting allows pupils and teachers to get the most from the learning experience. So, for example if you were delivering a lecture to a small number of students you would only need to illuminate the teaching area and the smaller area were the students sat. Common sense you would think, however traditional systems would see whole classrooms illuminated for a small concentration of students.
Whilst the technology used to deliver this is readily available it was E-LIFE's expertise that allowed them to deliver tangible solutions and real "thought- through" systems to help achieve The Works green and economic targets. The project also involves off-site programming limiting time on site, and therefore cost.
E-LIFE engineers are highly-trained individuals, training goals are at the fore front of our mind and allow us to offer real cutting edge solutions contractors are looking for, paired with more practical working methods, off site programming time and distant fault finding, mean for a small company we really punch above our weight.
The site also features Absence detection so when a room is not in use and no motion has been detected for a specified period of time then the necessary services are switched off such as light and heating. The same applies for Presence detection.
