Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) May 7, 2008
Elite Stables (http://www.elitestables.com), the nationwide Thoroughbred consulting, breeding and high percentage racing stable, announced the May 2008 Outlook. Included are the East Coast, Louisiana, Los Angeles and San Francisco Outlook along with the Louisiana Breeding Program.
According to Elite Stables' Director of Racing Operations Gary Sadowski:
News from the YouFellowship (http://www.youfellowship.com) sponsored Elite Racing Operation in the Bay Area, CA is great. REAL SKY, a recent claim that won easy the day Elite claimed her is pointing for a race at the next level that she will be likely to win and get claimed and possibly insure another positive ROI claim. The filly, GONE CALIFORNIAN, has the same story as REAL SKY – she won easy the day Elite claimed her and will be hard to beat while climbing the class ladder. LAW BREAKER, a recent claim at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, CA from Bob Baffert, finished a hard trying 4th last out. LAW BREAKER needs a class relief to find the winners circle and he is on schedule for a May effort.
The East Coast Operation is focused on the Preakness for the month of May. Elite will be bringing 3 year old stakes winning filly, HADAVISION, to Baltimore to compete in the Grade 3 Miss Preakness Stakes on Friday the 16th. HADAVISION recently won the $100,000 Peach Blossom Stakes at Delaware Park, not bad for a $30,000 Churchill Downs claim by Elite – just another example of Elite’s ability to find talent without breaking the bank. HADAVISION has three victories over three different tracks in five lifetime starts. The well traveled filly has made starts at Del Mar, California, Churchill Downs, Presque Isle (Pennsylvania) and Delaware Park. The 4 year old filly ACINONYX, who drew off by 12 lengths the day Elite claimed her for $12,500, is pointed for the Skipat Stakes that follow the Preakness Stakes. TOCQUEVILLE, the $15,000 Elite claim who went on to start in the Claiming Crown at Ellis Park in Kentucky and later win a $40,000 Claiming Race and two Allowance races, will attempt on 5/17 to break the 3rd Allowance condition on the turf. Three other horses, ELITE WILDCAT, OUT OF MY WAY and CEE MY TIZZY RUN, are pointing for races between May 15th and May 17th at Pimlico for Elite Stables. GEEFOUR, a $25,000 claim that Elite advised a client to buy for $25,000 and has won over $100,000 in just over six months, is getting the summer off and will be ready to continue cashing checks around Christmas.
The information from the American Dental Organization (http://www.americandentalorganization.net) sponsored Elite Stables Racing Operation/New Orleans, Louisiana is very positive. LATIN LOUIE came out of his 4th place finish in an April Allowance race feeling good; the effort was really great considering he had the misfortune of a bad trip and he was claimed for only $6,250. LATIN LOUIE is pointing for a May race and will be one of the choices; if he wins then it will be just another example of high profit investment by Elite Stables. BALLOON KNOT is on target for a May race and is well rested. JATHAN TYLER, another cheap claimer to run well at twice his purchase price is coming off an April $10,000 claiming 2nd place effort (not bad for a $5,000 claim) and is on target for a May race. MARATHON MOM, the classy filly that was purchased privately, is really showing her class and gearing up for a Summer of Stakes Races. The only bad news is TIMEOUTCOLBY, who was claimed for $12,500 and finished 2nd in his April Race. But it’s not all that bad because he was bought by Elite for only $10,000 and he cashed a check – yet another good investment by Elite Stables.
The Outlook for May at Hollywood Park is wonderful. SWEET ROSEMAN, the stakes placed 3 year old filly that Elite claimed for $20,000, is doing great and will be tough to beat in her upcoming May Race. HOME OF THE GOLD, an expensive Keeneland Yearling purchase that Elite recently claimed, has run three tough races and will not race in May; Elite thinks it’s a good idea to give the youngster a break until the Del Mar meet. The horse for Argentina named TOLNAI is a great example of an Elite claiming winner and will be tough to beat in his May race, he is sure to be another rock solid investment.
GENTLEMEN, the center of the Elite Louisiana breeding program, was a late 2007 purchase and has covered over 40 mares thus far, which is a major increase over 2006 and 2007. GENTLEMEN’s first Louisiana foal is doing great.
