ELLE will host an online casting call sponsored by GUESS, the American lifestyle brand famous for its trend setting styles and unforgettable campaigns, to find the “Global Street Chic Ambassador” who will travel around the world taking pictures of the best in street fashion. From Amsterdam to Los Angeles, the new Global Street Chic feature on ELLE.com will capture the best street style looks from the most fashionable cities around the world.
ELLE.com will direct stylistas looking to become the Global Street Chic Ambassador to the GUESS Facebook page which will host the contest. All interested applicants must “like” the GUESS Facebook page in order to participate in the casting call. Contestants will be asked to submit their best street style looks to the GUESS Facebook page, where fans will vote on their favorites, culminating with two winners: Fan’s Favorite and the GUESS/ELLE Editor’s Choice. The ‘Fan’s Favorite,’ the finalist who receives the most votes on GUESS’ Facebook page, will receive a wardrobe full of fashion-forward GUESS apparel and accessories. The two winners will be announced at the end of the summer.
While the contest is ongoing, the ELLE tab on the GUESS Facebook page will be the only place where ELLE.com’s Shopping Editor will show you how to get your favorite Global Chic look with GUESS product. The Global Chic looks will be accompanied by product galleries where users will be directed to shop for their favorite pieces.
The Global Street Chic contest will be promoted throughout the ELLE.com homepage and the Street Chic landing Page.
