Working alongside customers and investigating their projects provides a tremendous amount of intelligence that informs our R&D efforts...creating value for Remcom and our customers alike.

Remcom announces its final public training course for 2011 in Orlando, FL, from November 14-18. Two-day product tracks for XFdtd® and Wireless InSite® are scheduled, as well as the personal workshop option for those that want to work with Remcom’s engineers one-on-one.
- XFdtd Track (Release 7.2.1): November 14-15
- Personal Workshops: by appointment only on November 16
- Wireless InSite Track (Release 2.6): November 17-18
The personal workshop appointments offer attendees an opportunity to receive in-depth training on the topics of their choice. The workshops are especially beneficial for those attendees that will be staying in Orlando for the duration of the week to attend both product tracks.
Michael Hicks, Remcom’s director of sales and customer service, said, “We had such a positive response to the workshop option at our San Jose sessions in August that we decided to continue offering this option indefinitely. While we do set aside time for consultations during the product tracks, these individual meetings provide a forum where we can really dissect customers’ projects and explore the issues that are most critical to them.”
Jim Stack, Remcom’s training, applications, and consulting manager, added, “Working alongside customers and investigating their projects provides a tremendous amount of intelligence that informs our R&D efforts. Learning about customers’ processes and challenges exposes opportunities for new features and unmet industry needs, creating value for Remcom and our customers alike.”
The training is complimentary for those with current Remcom Professional Support (RPS) contracts. In addition, free registration is offered for one person per company regardless of RPS status.
Remcom training courses provide new users of the software an opportunity to master the products quickly and easily and enable experienced users to exploit the software more productively. The courses cover the theory, use, and application of Remcom’s software tools and include lectures, discussion, and example problems. Much time is devoted to hands-on practice during which instructors work at the computer with the attendees.
Additional information and registration forms can be found on Remcom’s website via the Orlando Training web page.
