UAE Embassy Launches New Web Resources for Media Covering President Bush's Visit to the Middle East

The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has launched a new website (http://www.uae-us.org/BushVisitsUAE) with resources for individuals and organizations who are interested in the UAE-US bilateral relationship.

    President Bush departs today on a multi-nation tour of the Middle East, which includes the UAE. While in the UAE, President Bush is expected to deliver a major policy address.

The UAE is a source of stability, tolerance, innovation, and growth in the Arabian Gulf and around the globe. And the UAE and US have enjoyed a long and peaceful relationship, rooted in shared strategic interests that include:

-- Enhancing regional stability and security

-- Ensuring reliable energy supplies to world markets

-- Encouraging global free trade and investment

-- Confronting terrorism and extremism.
