Emily Ann Klotz to Address Legal Needs of the Elderly
New York, NY (PRWEB) April 07, 2015 -- Emily Ann Klotz, a New York eldercare and guardianship attorney, will be speaking on April 17, 2015 at 12:00 P.M. at the Baruch Elder Services Team (BEST) program, located at 72 Columbia St., New York, NY 10002. She will be discussing advanced directives such as health-care proxies, living wills, wills, DNRs and powers of attorney, and answering questions afterward.
“It is my mission to answer pertinent questions and educate seniors on these crucial matters,” said Klotz. “I am focused on advocating for the elderly and disabled and dedicated to fully addressing all of their legal needs as well as those of their families and caregivers.”
The event is being hosted by the Grand St. Settlement (grandsettlement.org), which offers a continuum of lifecycle programs and services for every age, via its BEST program. “The BEST program is wonderful,” said Klotz. “It brings medical, social and support services to more than 700 older residents of the Bernard M. Baruch Houses, a naturally occurring retirement community.”
For more information about the event, please contact Andrea Herskowitz, BEST program director, at (212) 982-4171.
