We are excited to play an instrumental role in helping the enrichment and development of the multimedia industry of China and British Columbia.

The Education Division of the Eminata Group has successfully signed a significant MOU with the Beijing Multimedia Industry Association (BMIA). Eminata Group will develop and deliver an educational program that will focus on creative industry entrepreneurship with specific relevance to multimedia and digital media development, financing and distribution for students nominated by BMIA. In Beijing, Secretary General Xiaofeng Zhang just last week signed the MOU with Peter Chung, the Executive Chairman of the Eminata Group.
Both parties agree with enthusiasm that China and British Columbia can benefit from each other’s experience and expertise. With the anticipation that there will be significant investment in the multimedia sector in both China and British Columbia, this MOU will create synergies to develop a truly global dynamic program. Students enrolled will gain a firm understanding of the sound practices and technical skills that lead to success in China and British Columbia which, in turn, will make them competitive in the relevant job market. The program is estimated to accommodate 100 students per annum.
“We are excited to play an instrumental role in helping the enrichment and development of the multimedia industry of China and British Columbia,” said Dr. Peter Chung, the Executive Chairman of Eminata Group.
The MOU was made possible with the help of BC Film and Media, an agency charged by the Province of British Columbia, to assist in developing film, television, and digital media industry sectors in British Columbia, Canada. Mr. Michael Francis, Chairman of the Board of BC Film and Media, recognized strong potential in this opportunity, and helped connect the two parties together. This bilateral agreement is thus going forward as a joint effort between BMIA and BC Film and Media.
Eminata Group is pleased to embark on a search to establish an effective educational program that will not only deliver a market supported curriculum but also eventually contribute to industry co-operation and co-production between China and British Columbia.
