Peter Gaslow, President and CEO of Empire Office, Inc. (http://www.empireoffice.com), a leading national provider of contract furniture solutions, today unveiled Empire Office’s rebranding efforts.

The initiative commenced at the end of 2011 and took the company and its executives through an extensive analysis of the messages that were being sent into the marketplace. While the company name remains unchanged, the new logo and positioning statement signals a new way forward for the New York-headquartered furniture dealer.

“The need for this project and the timing mostly stemmed from our four acquisitions over the past five years. We began to notice that we weren’t always delivering a consistent message across all locations,” said Gaslow. “We knew we had to align our efforts and unify the brand in order to hold on to our established brand equity in the industry.”

As the largest Steelcase dealer in the country, Empire Office’s expertise dates back to its inception in 1946. The company has historically been led and managed by the Gaslow family, now in its third generation of leadership.

Empire Office provides furniture services to a wide range of companies in various industries, from large, multi-location Fortune 500 companies to local start-ups, and from hospitals and universities to automotive dealerships and hotels.

“We are transforming the way people have traditionally thought about a furniture dealer,” added Richard Gulardo, COO. “Everyday our clients come to us with a business issue that they need to solve, whether that involves reexamining a nation-wide real estate portfolio and reducing expenses or planning for a next-generation workforce. We focus on being more than just another order-taker by partnering with our clients to create the perfect solution to fit those complex challenges.”

The Empire Office website (http://www.empireoffice.com) has also gone through a complete overhaul as part of the rebranding initiative, and features an explanation of the newly developed positioning, an inspiring photo gallery of completed projects as well as a soon-to-be launched blog site.
