Greener Dawn, a San Diego-based marketing services company says business is growing in connecting people with solar installers, energy auditors and green contractors (San Diego Union-Tribune article). Greener Dawn operates a nationwide network of local websites like http://www.sandiegosolarpv.com and http://www.losangelessolarpv.com that provide homeowners with information on solar installations and energy savings, collects their information, and then sells it to contractors and installers as sales leads. The websites are similar in structure, but each regional site has specific solar rebate information particular to that location.
“The goal is to promote green jobs by linking providers to people ready to buy. In our local market, we want homeowners who want a San Diego solar installation to understand the benefits and return on investment of solar so they can make an informed decision,” Courtland Weisleder, CEO of Greener Dawn, said. Greener Dawn also provides lead management, call center services, life cycle email campaigns, and does offer financing and equipment leasing. “Anyone can create a lead, but how do you create value around that lead? That’s what we offer to our clients,” Weisleder said.
Greener Dawn recently inked an affiliate marketing deal with satellite television provider DISH Network to market its services to its users. After making the deal with DISH Network, the company is seeking additional partnerships with businesses with captive audiences, such as financial services companies and sports leagues.

DISH Network will offer a Greener Dawn branded $100 American Express® Reward Card to all new subscribers who come through the Greener Dawn channels. This $100 can be used toward an Energy Efficiency retrofit for such items as the energy audit, insulation, caulking, doors and other products.
