Jim has been promoted to Electrical Compliance Director in the company’s corporate office in Albany, NY, Shane has been promoted to General Manager of the company’s Nashville, TN office, Nichole has been promoted to Inside Sales Representative in the company’s Syracuse, NY office and Tim has been promoted to Senior Sales Auditor and has transferred to the company’s new Pueblo, CO office.

Jim Pacocha began his career with SmartWatt Energy in 2010 as a Project Engineer, and then was promoted to Licensing Manager. In that position, he was actively involved in licensing responsibilities. In his new role as Electrical Compliance Director, Jim will continue to proactively ensure SmartWatt Energy’s compliance with all contractor licensing, safety, and environmental regulations and will oversee construction safety programs, quality assurance, and the management of sub-contractor relationships.

Shane Acernese joined SmartWatt Energy’s team two years ago as a Project Engineer and Project Manager. This past February, he was promoted to Project Development Engineer. In this role, Shane developed mechanical and lighting efficiency projects by identifying, assessing and structuring technical and financial solutions for customers’ energy-efficiency needs. As the General Manager of the Nashville office, he will be responsible for all aspects of project development, engineering, and the construction management of large commercial and industrial projects, and will develop business to meet sales revenue goals.

Nichole Del Nero began her career at SmartWatt Energy earlier this year as a part-time Operations Assistant. In that position, Nichole supported the Operations Team with documentation for the installation of energy-efficiency upgrades. In her new role as an Inside Sales Representative, she will generate and track leads, schedule audits, help coordinate marketing efforts, and provide administrative support to the sales team.

Tim Telfer joined SmartWatt Energy’s team two years ago as an Energy Sales Auditor based out of the company’s Syracuse office. In that position, Tim generated leads, conducted energy audits and recommended energy-efficiency upgrades in conjunction with a utility-based small business direct install program. As a Senior Energy Sales Auditor, Tim will use this experience to develop business in Colorado.
