Datapipe and Applicure Launch Managed Enterprise Website Security Solution

With dotDefender as an integral part of the renowned managed hosting solutions offered by Datapipe, a large base of enterprise customers around the world can now easily add this award-winning defense technology.

Applicure Technologies, Ltd., a leading provider of Web application security software, and Datapipe, a global provider of managed IT services, announced today they have launched a hosted solution to protect enterprise websites from hacker attacks, such as SQL injection and cross-site scripting (XSS). The partnership enables Datapipe to provide the award-winning dotDefender Web application security solution to its managed hosting customers, helping them protect their websites from external and internal attacks. Global enterprises hosted on thousands of servers at Datapipe can now immediately add additional security to their hosting, augmenting existing security measures and helping meet compliance requirements.

Yaacov Sherban, Applicure CEO, stated, “With dotDefender as an integral part of the renowned managed hosting solutions offered by Datapipe, a large base of enterprise customers around the world can now easily add this award-winning defense technology. We are delighted to work with Datapipe’s experienced security team to immediately deliver a solution to the rapidly growing challenge of PCI compliance with enterprise Web applications.”

Web application attacks appear as harmless traffic to a network firewall or anti-virus program and are therefore allowed to pass through. Based on a comprehensive knowledgebase and sophisticated pattern matching technology, dotDefender identifies attacks accurately and stops them before they reach their target. This technology gives Datapipe customers an affordable method to protect their websites, applications, and data from malicious users seeking to exploit vulnerabilities.

“dotDefender is a strong complement to our security solutions ,” said Joel Friedman, Chief Security Officer at Datapipe. “Designed for multiple platforms and easy deployment, we’re confident this enterprise-class solution offers additional protection for our customers against hackers, data theft and other emerging threats.”
