$18,000 in Scholarships up for Grabs in My 30 Seconds of Entertainment® Video Contest!

Entertainment Publications, Inc., the leading provider of promotions and discounts, announced today the launch of its My 30 Seconds of Entertainment® video contest. Eligible high school students participating in a fundraiser have a chance at winning their share of $18,000 in cash scholarships.

By partnering with four friends and creating their very own 30-second Entertainment® commercial, high school students participating in an Entertainment® book membership fundraiser are eligible to win one of the following:

  •     First Prize - One (1) $10,000 cash scholarship;
  •     Second Prize - Two (2) $2,500 cash scholarships;
  •     Third Prize - Three (3) $1,000 cash scholarships.

Once the commercial is completed, entrants must upload it to http://www.My30SecondsOfEntertainment.com from Sept. 14, 2007 - Oct. 13, 2007 for viewing. The voting phase begins on Oct. 14, 2007 and runs through Nov. 14, 2007. Winners will be announced in late November 2007.

Videos will be judged based on three equal parts: the number of votes, number of video views and general judging criteria (originality, creativity and appropriate theme).

Those who vote for or upload a video will automatically be entered into a sweepstakes where they could win a Nintendo® Wii™, Xbox 360™, Game Boy® Advance or a portable DVD player.
