With 42,000 square feet of space, plus room to expand if needed, I feel we are well situated for the foreseeable future

Envera announced today that it will relocate to West Chester, Pennsylvania in the fourth quarter of 2011. The move will place the company in West Goshen Township, which is approximately 15 miles east of the current location. Prior to the relocation, the 42,000 sq ft building will undergo extensive office renovation, and will be outfitted with new laboratories, fermentation and downstream processing areas, and product manufacturing facilities. The renovation is slated to begin this month with a completion date of October 31, 2011.
Mike Matheny, president and owner of Envera stated, “We are very pleased with the warm welcome that was received from West Goshen Township. They have been very helpful in guiding us through the permit process, and we worked closely together to solidify the renovation plans. With 42,000 square feet of space, plus room to expand if needed, I feel we are well situated for the foreseeable future,” concluded Matheny.
The move to West Chester is required to accommodate the growth of the company. Envera, which manufactures environmentally friendly products, has experienced a surge of interest as consumers become more interested in green technology. “I have been making environmentally friendly alternatives to harsh chemicals for over 20 years, and I am glad we are well positioned to handle the market’s recent interest in this area,” commented Matheny. The relocation will greatly increase Envera’s capacity to produce microbial cultures, add to Envera’s offering of customized products, and allow for greater customer service.
In addition to being closer to the city of Philadelphia, the airport, and other services, Envera will be situated among the group of biotechnology companies located in eastern Chester County. “Our proximity to other biotechnology companies will make it easier to attract top-tier talent from a pool of well established scientists,” Matheny said. “This location will also give us access to a larger group of office and manufacturing staff, which will be vital to our growth” stated Matheny.
