We have learned that green buildings and eco-cities cost less to build, use less energy, waste less, are less expensive to maintain and modify, and can evolve sustainably using regenerative processes
Foster City, CA (PRWEB) March 19, 2012
Bay Area green consulting company, E3 Regenesis Solutions, connecting people, companies, technology, partners and government agencies, is announcing James Caldwell’s participation in a seminar entitled, “Building China’s Urban Future at the NAAAPSF.” The National Association of Asian American Professionals in collaboration with the Asia Society of Northern California, the Project Management Institute SFBAC and the Asian Commercial Professionals are hosting the seminar on March 21 from 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the PPIC Bechtel Conference Center at 500 Washington St. in San
The evening features networking and presentations with distinguished professionals who are playing major roles in the shaping of China’s urban growth. The issues of sustainable development and cross border opportunities between China and the U.S. will be focal points of discussion. James Caldwell of E3 Regenesis Solutions, a Bay Area environmental consulting company will be providing the opening remarks.
China is currently undergoing one of the largest building booms in history. It has been estimated by the Mckinsey Global Institute that two new cities the size of Chicago will be expected to appear every year for the next two decades. By 2025, China’s building market is expected to become a $2.5 trillion industry that will create new market opportunities for local and foreign investments.
The more urgent matter at hand is how to sustainably achieve the immense opportunities for growth without compromising the environmental, social and economic needs of tomorrow.
“We have learned that green buildings and eco-cities cost less to build, use less energy, waste less, are less expensive to maintain and modify, and can evolve sustainably using regenerative processes,” James Caldwell of E3 Regenesis Solutions said. “Although the development processes are very challenging because they require cooperation among diverse stakeholders, the benefits far outweigh the effort. What progress are we making?”
Confirmed panelists are moderator and opening speaker James Caldwell, a director of the Board of the US-China Green Energy Council, CEO of E3 Regenesis Solutions. Panelists are Fiona Ma, California Assembly Speaker Pro Tempore; Alexis Wong, CEO of The Prometheus Investment Group and CEO of AGI Capital; Ellen Lou, director of Urban Planning and Design at Skidmore Owings and Merrill; and Alex Flores, manager of Cisco Advanced Services Smart + Connected Communities.
