HERAE, one of the nation's largest healthcare payment services providers, has awarded DATAMARK, Inc., a leading provider of business process outsourcing services, a contract to provide data entry services for HERAE's Direct Deposit for Healthcare® electronic payment system, more specifically HERAE's paper conversion process.

HERAE (pronounced "hurray") offers a HIPAA-compliant payment process that leverages DATAMARK's onshore, near-shore and far-shore outsourcing centers located in El Paso, Texas, Juarez Mexico and Chennai India, to electronically process payments from insurers to healthcare providers' accounts. Scanned images of HIPAA 835 transactions (also referred to as "Explanation of Benefits" or "EOBs") are transmitted to DATAMARK, where claim and transaction data are keyed over a secure connection. Browser-based keying allows data to be entered from multiple locations, improving overall processing time and providing multiple cost options based on the client's preference for where the data entry services are performed.
