Most of us are familiar with paper-based seizure diaries. 'EpiTrax Live' will familiarize people with the process and benefits of tracking their seizures with a software tool.
LOS ANGELES (PRWEB) July 25, 2007
"EpiTrax Live" will take place two days a week (Tuesday and Friday) at two different times (10:00am and 4:00pm PST). Physicians will be allowed to sign up for any of the "EpiTrax Live" sessions. Prospective EpiTrax users will be able to sign up once they have downloaded the 30-day trial version of EpiTrax at http://www.neomedsoft.com/evaluation. The online demonstrations will be live and interactive, allowing participants to ask questions and gain detailed knowledge of how to use the tool.
"For individuals with epilepsy, tracking seizures is an essential part of our ongoing healthcare," said Eric Schumacher, CEO of NeoMed Software, who has lived with seizures for over 20 years. "Most of us are familiar with paper-based seizure diaries. 'EpiTrax Live' will familiarize people with the process and benefits of tracking their seizures with a software tool."
To join the presentations, individuals will need a computer with a high-speed Internet connection and a phone line. In order to ensure that all participants have a chance to ask questions, sessions will be limited to four people. Demonstrations will last from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on participation levels.
