Meridian Cyber Solutions announced the opening of a new location in San Francisco to act as the preeminent training facility and equipment and product showroom for Photographers, Artists, Graphic Designers and Prepress Professionals in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest.

Economos reported that the showroom will also house one of the largest collections of prints and samples of photographic, fine art and prepress paper to allow clients to conduct side by side comparisons.
Workshops and classes, which will begin in March, will cover such topics as color management, digital printing, media selection, beginning and advanced Photoshop, and PrePress RIPs. Meridian also plans to hold technology days featuring introductions to new products and technologies from leading manufacturers.

"The building, formerly a children's knitwear company, needed a lot of work. It took nearly 4 months of construction and some work is still in progress. Remodeling included pouring a new concrete floor, building handicapped bathrooms and access, running 100s of electrical and communication lines and installing a new entrance. True to our imaging purpose, the interior is painted Munsell grey and has both natural skylights and 5000K CFL lighting."
