Engaged LGBTQ couples can now easily plan their wedding with three distinct tools on EquallyWed.com: Wedding Checklist, Guest List Manager and Budget Manager.

Today, EquallyWed.com, the nation’s premier LGBTQ online wedding magazine, is excited to announce the launch of the industry’s first comprehensive suite of online tools to make wedding planning for engaged gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and queer couples easy, inclusive and stress-free—all at no charge.

Equally Wed’s Wedding Planning Tools are a great way for engaged brides, grooms and brooms (butch brides) to stay on top of every detail throughout the planning process. Couples can expertly manage guest lists, RSVPs and more, as well as keep track of every cent spent, and check off to-dos and see what’s left to do.

Engaged LGBTQ couples can now easily plan their wedding with three distinct tools on EquallyWed.com: Wedding Checklist, Guest List Manager and Budget Manager.

Equally Wed’s LGBTQ-inclusive Wedding Checklist offers same-sex couples an extensive list of all the details to consider when planning their weddings—without the heteronormative terms found in traditional wedding sites and magazines. Here, couples won’t be directed to buy one suit and one gown for their wedding nor is it assumed that they’ll only be purchasing insurance for just one engagement ring. The list of 169 to-dos does come with a disclaimer: Don’t stress about every detail if you don’t want to.

Staying on top of RSVPs is no easy task, especially since weddings are a canopy for multiple events. In heterosexual weddings, there are generally multiple people who throw parties for the couple, and thus keep up with the RSVPs of the engagement parties and the rehearsal dinner. In LGBTQ relationships, that burden often lies with the couple, making it even more crucial that the lovebirds have a reliable tool to help them through it. In the Guest List Manager, Equally Wed lets readers track their guests for the engagement party, rehearsal dinner and wedding, as well as keep up with gifts received, invitations sent, thank-you notes sent and more.

Planning a wedding costs money, but it doesn’t have to cost more than the couple plans if they stay on budget. This goal is possible with the help of Equally Wed’s Budget Manager, which makes tracking wedding expenses a breeze with multiple sections for deposits made and final payments processed.

"We're thrilled to offer our community the technology it needs to be able to plan the weddings of their dreams in a fun, inviting and inclusive environment," says Equally Wed's co-founder and editor in chief Kirsten Ott Palladino, who launched the online magazine with her wife, publisher Maria Palladino, after they encountered unfriendly wedding vendors and no coverage of same-sex weddings in the mainstream bridal magazines when planning their own 2009 nuptials.

Along with the free suite of wedding-planning tools launched this week, Equally Wed also has rolled out a new section of the site: blogs. Two new blogs are featured on EquallyWed.com: Approaching the Aisle, written by engaged brides, grooms and brooms (butch brides) who are blogging about their experiences planning their weddings, and Pro Prose, a blog for carefully selected vendors who offer a behind-the-scenes perspective and inside track into the wedding industry.

Equally Wed is the nation’s premier LGBTQ online wedding magazine, which publishes monthly, as well as offer daily articles to its readers, featuring Real Gay Weddings, marriage-equality news, style advice for masculine and feminine body types, gay-friendly wedding vendors around the globe, gay-friendly honeymoon destinations and planning ideas. Equally Wed is the flagship brand of Palladino Publishing LLC, a media and technology company devoted to providing the LGBTQ community with trusted information, resources, advice and inspiration to guide them through their engagements, weddings, honeymoons, marriages and beyond.
