Creek County, OK (PRWEB) April 26, 2013
Creek County has initiated electronic document recording with national e-recording service provider Simplifile, providing a faster, more cost-effective service for land documents submitters.
“E-Recording offers a quick way for our customers to file and receive their documents and cuts paper usage,” said Creek County Clerk Jennifer Mortazavi. “We hope that everyone will have a chance to use this system and open a faster way of recording their documents.”
Mortazavi said she learned about e-recording when she was running for office and was excited to start the process with Simplifile in January her first weeks as the county clerk.
With Simplifile’s web-based service, the recording process at Creek County has become more automated, as they can quickly receive, stamp, record, and return documents electronically to submitters.
“Our experience has been great so far, and we are looking forward to getting more coming in,” Mortazavi added.
With the addition of Creek County, over 40 percent of Oklahoma’s counties have implemented e-recording with Simplifile including Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Cleveland counties.
“Our service helps counties all over the nation streamline their recording process and helps submitters operate more efficiently,” said Paul Clifford, president of Simplifile. “We continue to lead the industry with the largest and fastest-growing e-recording network, helping to improve the overall recording workflow and advancing online recording capabilities.”
