SouthwestCRM is pleased to announce that Hub Le Bas, a division of the Caparo Group, has selected SugarCRM to help its 30-strong sales team respond to customer enquiries more rapidly. SouthwestCRM has connected SugarCRM to Hub Le Bas’ current ERP system and is already helping the business respond to customer demands quicker and more efficiently.

Hub Le Bas is the leading distributor of steel tube in the United Kingdom. It is a part of Caparo Steel Products, a private and diversified group, specialising principally in the manufacture and supply of steel and engineering products for industry. Hub Le Bas operates from four sites which are located in separate warehouses positioned throughout the UK in order to deliver best service to its customers. The company was looking for a CRM solution to supplement its ERP system in order to further strengthen its position in the market.

Hub Le Bas prides itself in the speed of delivery of its precision steel tube and ability to offer bespoke cut lengths quickly. The company was looking for a specialist CRM system that could work alongside its ERP software. A number of CRM systems were evaluated and SugarCRM was selected after a thorough analysis of the alternatives.

SouthwestCRM implemented SugarCRM Professional Edition and used the world renowned Jitterbit Professional data transformation solution to connect SugarCRM to the ERP software. This allowed Hub Le Bas to replicate all orders and enquiries in SugarCRM which enabled the sales team to print or email quotes at the push of a button. The CRM solution has helped the sales team to be even more pro-active with their customers and offer them a better service whilst also minimising administration and increasing efficiency.
