Though NDS Systems requires only $1 for the ERP Software site license, NDS does not withhold key features. Out-of-the-box, the ERP Solution leverages an all-inclusive feature set to support both "buy, hold, sell" and "sell, source, ship" distribution models. In fact, the Solution is not bound by a box - it has practically limitless configuration and desktop integration possibilities.

Whether a company's revenue is $5 million or $500 million, NDS recognizes that the functionality needs are very much the same. That is why the Solution includes a full suite of component applications, which may be turned on or off by simple configuration. Key among NDS end users are the Warehouse Management, Sales Force Automation and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications. The Warehouse Management application includes directed replenishment, directed stocking and directed picking with features such as multiple rules by item, cross-docking, and on-the-fly Product Configuration to handle Assemble-to-Order and kitting needs. Sales Force Automation and CRM give the company's Sales Management and Sales Team elevated visibility and absolute control from sales lead to resulting sale.

Other distributor-focused component applications available in the NDS suite include:

  •     Sales Order Management
  •     Purchasing Management
  •     Supplier Management
  •     Financial Management
  •     Service Warranty
  •     Dynamic Product Configurator

The NDS $1 ERP System unifies all these component applications, giving all users in an organization a single point of reference.

Joe Allmond, MIS Director of Reid Entities, said, "The multi-enterprise capabilities of NDS ERP applications allow us to manage all our distribution and manufacturing operations in a single system both financially and operationally. The NDS cross-docking feature has enabled our distribution company, Reid Supply, to successfully employ the 'sell, source, ship' model. Notable is the significant increase in material, which is cross-docked from receiving to shipping, eliminating a large number of inventory touches."

About NDS Systems

The NDS enterprise customer base spans the manufacturing, distribution and service sectors, with revenues of $5 million to $500 million.
