SOA is an increasingly important business requirement for organizations because of the business flexibility it enables

ERUCES Inc., a leading provider of encryption technologies, today announced its acceptance to the IBM Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Specialty after successfully completing IBM's rigorous SOA technical and business requirements. With this achievement ERUCES' Tricryption application integrates with the IBM software and strategy for SOA.

"SOA is an increasingly important business requirement for organizations because of the business flexibility it enables," said Sandy Carter, Vice President of IBM SOA and WebSphere. "ERUCES' commitment to SOA provides their customers with a powerful way to reduce integration costs while rapidly deploying cryptographic applications across their enterprise."

The Tricryption WebSphere Adapter plugs into IBM's WebSphere software to provide enhanced encryption, auditing, and access controls. Combined with the IBM software and strategy for SOA, and a team of certified SOA personnel, ERUCES is poised to help customers during and after their SOA implementations.

"Support for SOA is critical to reducing the cost and time to deployment for applications, as they need to secure data from various sources throughout the enterprise and interoperate with other applications," said Jon-Michael C. Brook, ERUCES' Vice President of Security Solutions & Sales. "Teaming with IBM for SOA enables ERUCES to provide a best-of-breed encryption offering while relying on IBM's proven middleware."

ERUCES is redefining cryptographic security, providing encryption key server management and key distribution products that protect Databases, Workstations, Servers, Web Services/Application Servers and third-party applications. ERUCES Tricryption software utilizes standard encryption algorithms implemented in validated cryptographic modules. ERUCES is a privately held software company headquartered in Kansas City with offices in Tampa, Orlando, and Columbia, MD. For further information on ERUCES, visit
