The new Jewel Jet Pro steam cleaner, available from Esslinger & Co., St. Paul, MN, is designed to be viewable by customers, but also features a cleaning capacity that’s powerful enough for small shops. Though it’s not intended for heavy-duty commercial jewelry cleaning, it has many features usually seen on such units available with much higher price tags.

The Jewelry Jet Pro boasts a 5 to 10 minute warm-up time, with steam bursts up to approximately 60 psi. It has a left button for steam bursts, a right button for continuous steam, and comes with a detachable foot pedal. The unit uses one liter of regular tap water and includes a stainless steel catch basket, water funnel, measuring fill cup and plastic-coated tweezers.
