Etiket Launches New Website to Enhance Online Shopping Experience

A pioneer in results oriented skin care and niche perfumes in Canada, Etiket announced today the launch of their updated integrated website The new site features an easy and innovative experience to find the right skin care products based on skin type, skin condition or brand, the ability to choose organic, natural or oil and paraben free products as well as an advanced search feature.

We have customers shopping with us from all across Canada and the one thing we keep hearing from them is how much they like our personal service. With this new site we feel we will be able to give our customers an even better experience.

“We may be a young and small company, but our goal is always to give the best in customer service to our clients whether it be in-store or on line, “ said Simon Tooley, President of Etiket. “We don’t really think we are doing anything special, we are just making the on-line shopping experience as easy as possible so that customers will be able to find the right products for their skin care needs.”

The new website was developed by Motto Custom Design Studio– an integrated design studio that specializes in on-line retail including the integration of e-mail marketing, application development and social media ensuring an all channel approach for its clients. Motto built the site using a customized Magento e-commerce platform in combination with the LightSpeed Retail POS that is used in the boutique to ensure seamless and up to date inventory. Bronto Software from Durham, North Carolina was brought in to provide a cloud-based marketing platform to ensure that information was easily passed on to Etiket’s client base through email, mobile and social campaigns.

“We have been working with Simon since Etiket began, actually from when Etiket was still an idea. We have helped develop the brand all the way though to this latest website, “ said Randy Laporte, President of Motto. “We spent a lot of time looking at what the competition was doing, and I think more importantly what they weren’t doing to be able to give the customer shopping on the best possible experience they could have. But it never really stops, we are always looking to make the shopping experience better.” first launched in March of 2012 and has already gone through two updates. This latest update is a completely new platform that integrates videos, links to The Etiket Insider, the company’s blog, as well as reviews by their clients. Clients now have the ability to find the right results oriented skin care products for their needs, gifts, or their favorite niche perfume. It also includes information on new products, beauty trends, in-store events as well as advice from their medical consultant, Dr. Yves Hébert.

The site is accessible on mobile as well as tablet and a specific mobile version is planned for release. The company is working towards a fully bilingual site in the next three months as well as an automated re-order system that will allow clients to be reminded when their skin care products will be due for replenishment.

I think of what I would expect when I shop both from the level of product and service and that is what we give them. For example, free shipping; I just don’t understand why we would charge for shipping. We don’t charge a customer for a shopping bag, so why would charge to get the goods to them?” said Mr. Tooley.

About Etiket: Etiket launched its first store in December of 2011 as a luxury retail concept located in downtown Montreal. Etiket has established itself as a results-oriented skin care resource both in Montreal and on-line while at the same time growing its product categories to include niche fragrances, mineral make-up, bath and body, men’s products as well as hair care and exclusive beauty products. An online store was launched in March 2012 and long-term plans include opening more stores across Canada.
