Event production company, Merestone an award-winning, full service production company that specializes in event planning and production, continues to grow their client base and will be adding new team members to help address their clients growing needs.

With the addition of these new team members, Merestone is now in an even better position to produce one-of-a-kind, live and interactive events and environments that provide a true brand experience. The new team members include:
Tim Young, Production Manager. Tim grew up around live music and began mixing audio at a young age. He has been doing live mixing on a regular basis for the past 17+ years, which is what propelled him into the house of worship and corporate world of audio-visual. Tim has over 10 years of professional audio visual experience, producing 4 services a week with a team of volunteers at one of the nation’s largest houses of worship, leading the productions in 4 auditoriums with state of the art technology. Tim was also a project coordinator/technician at a corporate audio visual services provider here in Arizona where he worked on many small and large shows in ballrooms throughout the west coast.
Frank Luyet, Master Craftsman. Frank has spent the majority of his life working in the entertainment industry. Frank realized his creative skills early on and has putting them to use at major studios, for production companies, independent producers and more. As a result of his work Frank has become highly respected throughout the industry for his creative design capabilities and his superior management and producing skills.
Throughout his career Frank has designed and created mechanical effects, feature film and television sets, managed scene shops, designed props, produced countless projects, consulted for television and feature film producers and much more.
Frank was contracted on the New York, New York Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. He worked on feature films such as Con Air and Mighty Joe Young and with musical groups such as AC/DC, Ricky Martin, Counting Crows and 7-Up. His television commercial credits include Levis, Tylenol, IBM, Toyota, Pontiac, Intel, Snapple, Budweiser, Kellogg’s, Mattel (Barbie), Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Coca-Cola, Mercedes Benz, and many more. Frank has even put his skills to use for the VH1 Awards and the Oscars.
Since his move from California to Arizona, Frank has managed scene shops, prop, set and graphic design. Frank joined the Merestone team in 2010 and is looking forward to a prosperous career putting a lifelong knowledge of the industry to help create the most memorable of events.
Josh Hopkins, Assistant to Executive Producer. A native of Virginia and a Bachelor’s of Arts graduate from Christopher Newport University. During his time there he had extensive work on the stage and behind the stage. In the performance world he appeared in such shows as The Music Man, South Pacific, The Adding Machine, and Little Shop of Horrors. Behind the stage, in the technical world, he has had experience and training in lighting, carpentry, and stage management. After his collegiate career, his most recent work involves Assistant Stage Management for the Virginia Premier Theater which showcased touring shows and non-touring shows such as Nixon’s Nixon, The Gift of the Magi and Smith! Being the Life and Death of Cap’n John.
