Event Marketer and Opus Agency Expand Multiyear Partnership

First-of-its-kind partnership enters year two with expanded live education, broadened industry collaboration and exclusive research to inform and elevate the event industry’s use of strategy.

Event Marketer and leading experiential marketing agency Opus today outlined plans to bring additional content, collaboration and insights to the event industry in the second year of a previously announced multiyear partnership with Event Marketer.

EMS EXECUTIVE FORUM. Designed to accelerate the way brands approach, develop and execute event strategies, the half-day executive seminar on event strategy will return May 14 at Event Marketer’s Experiential Marketing Summit in Las Vegas. EMS STRATEGY LAB. To further the conversation on strategy after the Executive Forum wraps, Opus and EM will create an EMS Strategy Lab that Executive Forum attendees can use for peer-to-peer dialogs, whiteboard sessions, networking chats and roundtable discussions. EMS Strategy Lab will be open May 14-16 during EMS, programmed with content as well as some fun networking surprises.

INDUSTRY RESEARCH ON ROLE OF STRATEGY. After launching the inaugural benchmarking study on the role of strategy in event marketing, Event Marketer and Opus are already developing a year-end follow-up research initiative that will monitor the growth, usage and adoption of event strategy across Fortune 1000 companies in 2020.
