Mobile application makes it super simple for event organizers to check in attendees and track data associated with attendance and event management

Eventbrite, the fastest growing event ticketing and social commerce company, today announced the availability of Eventbrite Easy Entry, an iPhone application that enables event organizers to seamlessly check-in attendees, eliminating the hassle of manual or otherwise cumbersome and time consuming processes. The new app can be downloaded for free at the iTunes store: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/eventbrite-easy-entry/id368260521?mt=8.

Easy Entry automatically bridges the online management and preparation activities leading up to an event with day-of execution. Organizers can use it on multiple iPhones or iPods simultaneously to ensure check-ins are reported in real-time across all entrance points at an event. All check-in activity automatically reports to the Eventbrite server to sync with an organizer’s existing Eventbrite profile and database of information. Organizers can then leverage Eventbrite’s intelligence, analytics and reporting capabilities to maintain an on-going, comprehensive view into key reporting metrics.

“Our mission is to empower anyone to host any kind of event by providing a complete set of tools that are powerful yet easy to use,” said Kevin Hartz, CEO and co-founder of Eventbrite. “Easy Entry is another extension of our commitment to simplifying event ticketing and management and to providing our customers with the most innovative, accessible ticketing solutions possible.”

Bayside Church has been using the Easy Entry app for its “From the Dead Sea Scrolls to the Bible In America” exhibit. Over a 45-day period, the exhibit will host a total of 20,000 - 30,000 guests, divided into groups of 30 visitors entering in 15-minute intervals.

According to Aaron Robbins, online media director for Bayside Church, “Eventbrite is the most accessible, flexible and intuitive system on the market today for handling the entire event lifecycle. What’s equally important is that it makes the experience more engaging for visitors. Our volunteers can meet-and-greet visitors while checking them in with an iPhone or iPod Touch, creating a more conversational, engaged encounter rather than a static, boring experience of waiting in line.”

Easy Entry is available to all Eventbrite users for both free and paid events.
