Rehabmart.com, an online e-commerce company that sells rehabilitation and medical supplies, has recently joined forces with Brewer, Incorporated, to offer medical and dental exam tables and equipment to a larger professional healthcare market. Located in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, and founded in 1947 as the E.F. Brewer Company, this corporation began its operation as a custom tube fabricator constructing products and components for a wide range of industrial and consumer applications. Over the next several decades they continued to manufacture a wide variety of products including portable scooters, bassinets and lawn mowers before they shifted their focus to healthcare in the mid 1960s. It was then that E.F. Brewer introduced a comprehensive line of products for the medical market including seating, IV poles, hampers, instrument trays and step stools that became the basis for today's healthcare focus, and many of these products remain a very important part of their product portfolio.

E.F. Brewer entered the dental market in the 1980s with the acquisition of the Del-Tube Corporation, as their dental seating products complemented Brewer's own medical seating lines and leveraged its design and manufacturing expertise as the Del-Tube name was subsequently merged into Brewer's own brand name in the mid 1990s. E.F. Brewer was renamed as The Brewer Company at this time. It was also at this time that Brewer embarked upon a business development strategy that centered on their expertise in complex upholstery and seating design and manufacturing, and they put their focus on healthcare Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) serving the medical and dental markets. In 1999, they acquired Healthcare Lighting, and after launching their first line of innovative examination tables in 2001, they quickly gained market share and have continued to design and manufacture exam table products and equipment that have both the professional and patient in mind.

Brewer leads the industry with its award winning exam and power table designs and they were the first in the industry to offer many of the important and now 'standardized' features of these tables, including higher weight capacities, low wheelchair accessible heights, large steps and pass-through storage drawers. Brewer continues to focus on the needs of the people on the front lines of healthcare and all of their designs incorporate the 'voice of the customer' and input from healthcare professionals to ensure both needs are met. Before a design begins, they spend countless hours talking with doctors, dentists, nurses and their patients to understand the important features that they require, and the result is a superior product that delivers the exact features needed to transform the exam room into a safe, efficient and comfortable environment for the practitioner and patient alike.

“We are proud to offer these state-of-the-art exam tables and equipment designed by the Brewer Company to more professional healthcare consumers,” said Hulet Smith, Founder and CEO of Rehabmart. “They lead the industry in innovation through their comprehensive line of power procedure tables, exam tables, lighting, seating and a broad line of durable medical equipment such as IV poles, instrument stands, hampers and waste containers, and we are confident that our professional healthcare customers will find exactly what they need to enhance their own practice.”
