Former LSAC Chief Operating Officer Joins ExamSoft

Dr. Stephen Schreiber, an expert in high stakes examinations, and an executive who led teams that delivered the LSAT and GMAT exams, is joining ExamSoft as a Senior Advisor

ExamSoft Worldwide, Inc., a market leader in high stakes computer-based testing, today announced that Dr. Stephen Schreiber, a 30-year veteran in the field of high stakes assessment and higher education, has joined the executive team as a Senior Advisor. In this role, Dr. Schreiber will work with the senior management team on strategic marketing opportunities and partnerships. In addition, he is a trusted advisor in the fields of psychometrics, test development, and client service.

Most recently, he was the Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the Law School Admission Council (LSAC), whose primary product is the Law School Admission Test (LSAT). While at LSAC, he was responsible for the day-to-day operations of a staff of over 280 employees and oversaw all operations of the LSAT and the other services of the LSAC including psychometrics, test development, social science research, information systems, data services, candidate services, law school services, human resources, and communications.

Prior to joining LSAC, Dr. Schreiber spent 16 years with Educational Testing Service (ETS), in Princeton NJ. He completed his tenure there as the Executive Director, Graduate Management Admission Test program (GMAT). While with ETS, he guided the initial transition of the GMAT from a paper and pencil test to a Computer Adaptive Test delivery system.

Before joining ETS, Dr. Schreiber was an administrator at a number of prestigious universities, including; the University of Chicago, University of Texas, and Wake Forest University. Dr. Schreiber received both an Ed.D. in Higher Education and a M.S. in College Administration from Indiana University and a B.A. from the College of Wooster.
