Woodland Direct partners with Extreme Makeover Home Edition to provide the McCully family with a clean burning natural gas outdoor fire pit.
Shelby Township, MI (PRWEB) November 16, 2008 -- Woodland Direct had the opportunity to work with ABC's Extreme Makeover Home Edition by providing an outdoor fire pit to help a wonderful boy with an amazing story.

Job McCully, a 10-year-old boy from Bigelow, Arkansas, is a cancer survivor. From a young age, Job loved being outdoors with his family and roasting marshmallows over a campfire. Because of his double lung transplant, his body is very sensitive to smoke and other air pollutants.
Job was diagnosed at the age of four with Leukemia. He went through years of treatment, including both a bone marrow transplant and a double lung transplant. He now suffers from diabetes and other complications that have been brought on by his illness.
Woodland Direct donated an outdoor fire pit to the McCully's in hopes Job could once again enjoy a campfire with his family. Thanks to Woodland Direct, Job and his family were able to roast marshmallows on their custom built natural gas fire pit.
With no smoke emitting from the natural gas insert in the outdoor fireplace, Job was able to enjoy a clean burning campfire for the first time in many years.
Job is not only a hero to his community, but a hero to his family. He is a living testimony of the family's faith and love for each other.
